Starting, Stopping and Restarting Services

You can monitor, start, stop and restart various Plesk services from the control panel.

To see the status of a service:

1. Select the Server shortcut in the navigation pane.
2. Click Service Management on the Server administration page.

The current state of a service is marked by an icon: for the service running, for the service stopped, and if service is not installed or its management capabilities are not supported by the license key.

To start a service:

1. Select the Server shortcut in the navigation pane.
2. Click Service Management on the Server administration page.
3. Click the icon corresponding to the service you wish to start.

To restart a service:

1. Select the Server shortcut in the navigation pane.
2. Click the Service Management icon on the Server administration page.
3. Click the icon corresponding to the service you wish to restart.

To stop a service:

1. Select the Server shortcut in the navigation pane.
2. Click the Service Management icon on the Server administration page.
3. Click the icon corresponding to the service you wish to stop.
